According to the reports of the Department of Tourism, a large group of wedding professionals from California to the city surfaced recently and looked at the prospects for the Philippines as a destination wedding. They only had good words for him. “A basic wedding costs around $ 50,000 U.S., while in the Philippines are available for weddings of less than half that, with a honeymoon vacation lying on the package,” Richard Markel, President of the LA-based Association for Wedding Professionals International, was quoted as saying.
Outside the U.S. mainland, Hawaii is a popular wedding site for Americans, but still expensive. With the recession in full swing, people are either canceling or holding weddings in other locations.
Despite this distance, I think that Argentina has what it takes to be a cheap destination, affordable wedding for the following reasons:
1. The availability of cheap talent that can do all the work whether a singer, a band, a florist or even a fire dancer, labor is relatively cheap in these places. The options are diverse and simply stunning too.

2. Existence of all-in-one package that can tie the knot relatively free of problems. The big cities have professional planners and coordinators, or you do not want to hire a must-stop shops for this purpose, where you can get everything you need – from clothing to accessories catering to the wedding – on a roof. Well, do not forget to take care of the documents from your wedding as well.
3. Offshore trading. Those who want to organize your wedding from scratch you can skip the shopping and do the dirty work in places like Divisoria and Baclaran. These areas are very hard, but it is here where you can bargain and reduce costs by more than 50 percent.

4. Cheap restoration. Competition between the catering services has allowed delicious food at reasonable prices yet for their wedding, and can go as low as P150 (about $ 3).

5. without the high price environment. The foreign partners who want to choose the Philippines because they want history and a touch of exotic. Nothing’s more attractive than the exchange of vows amid a backdrop of white sand beach, fine sand and coconut palms. Here, you cannot make a dent in your wallet.

The wedding day is a time of great joy. His conclusion is not an individual concern but affects the entire neighborhood. The excitement and anticipation permeates the atmosphere. The relatives of the groom pool their resources to prepare for the event – to provide the wedding dress, decoration of the church and the bride’s house, caring for the many guests who come, get ready for the wedding banquet, and fix all other relevant details.
The wedding is set on a day when the crescent moon. District elders say that marriages when the moon is waning meet with no luck and prosperity, a belief that seems to be widespread among other peoples Visayas. Special events are held in relation to the eve of the wedding (likod-likod) with the aim of encouraging friendship and goodwill between the families of the two contracting parties. Another objective is to commemorate the last day before the couple share a married life together. Parents of the bride and groom address each other in familiar terms, “Stop” (for parents) and “Mare” (for mothers).

Apart from bearing the full cost of the party, the boy’s relatives to take care of entertaining and serving guests, especially the bride’s circle of family and close friends. There is an abundant supply of food and beverages, music and merry making. Great caution is found that nothing unpleasant happens, that all the visitors the pleasure and well fed, and that the provisions have not been exhausted. A serene, generous holiday portends luck and happiness for the bridal day.

An expert from the woman is often asked in charge of dishing out rice and meats in the large plates (trays). To pronounce certain invocations as she spoons of rice with a scoop of coconut (luwag) to ensure that food is sufficient for the party. The shortage would put the groom’s family to shame and predict the failure of the marriage celebrations. The bridal pair participates in the festivities, lasting until late at night, but parents ensure that early retirement.

In cultures of the Philippines, the groom’s family traditionally pays for the wedding. These days, however, relatives of the bride often help pay for some expenses. The bride and groom usually pays for the costs of their own savings.

Before any of this is decided yet, the groom and his family will visit the bride’s house to ask her family for her hand. This is called the Pamamanhikan or “meeting of the two families.” Pamamanhikan is a traditional event where wedding plans are shaped. It can be a difficult time for the couple to hear their parents discussing plans for the future. Parents discuss issues related to the guest list, budget, etc..

As far as wedding dresses go, dressed in white have become popular in the last century because of Western influence in the Philippines. Traditionally, brides dressed in designs put on public holidays. The wedding dresses that represent styles of that era in particular. The couple now tend to wear the Barong Tagalog as it is formal wear traditional Filipino cultures. Usually used untucked, with a regular white shirt underneath. The couple also often wear black pants. The male wedding guests typically bring their best Barongs.

Traditionally, in long past centuries, the wedding ceremony would last three days. Modern Filipino weddings have changed a lot, but some of the native customs are the same. Today, there are special sponsors, and godparents, aunts, uncles, or father, acting as special witnesses to the wedding. There are also secondary sponsors that normally deal with specific aspects of the ceremony. Some of them may become sponsors candle which will light two candles. The bride and groom will take each of these candles, and use them to light a candle to symbolize their union.

A veil will sponsor a veil over the shoulders of the groom and the bride’s head. The veil is usually white. This is to dress the two as one. The sponsor of the cord hang a decorative cord, called UGAL on the shoulders of the couple. The silk cord is tied in a figure-eight, and is believed to symbolize everlasting fidelity. Finally, the groom gives his bride thirteen coins, blessed by the priest, called rrhae “This symbolizes his dedication to his wife and their unborn children. It is a sign of respect, as he warns that it will provide for their welfare.

Perhaps the most elaborate case of a wedding is the Filipino fiesta. Food at the exploits of Filipino wedding is in soups and a variety of different meats, chicken, goat, ham, fish and roast pork. Vegetables and fruits are also provided. For dessert, meringues, coconut macaroons, baked custard cream and sweetened seeds of the nipa plant served. No one goes hungry in a Filipino wedding!

Filipino weddings are considered some of the world’s most beautiful ceremonies. The Filipino culture is very much appreciated by his belief in the sanctity of marriage. They ensure that the link between the bride and groom to be done in an unforgettable event!

I spent the whole day in Tagaytay Highlands in Tagaytay Cavite. This is an elegant country club in a neglected area of the city of Tagaytay, surrounded by exquisite greenery (mostly pine trees!) And had a captivating view of Lake Taal.
Tagaytay Highlands is a club member access only country with many amenities that would undoubtedly make a family day worthwhile and fulfilled. There are many things to do when in Tagaytay Highlands. The first of these is of course the famous cable car, where he was treated with a beautiful view of the surroundings through a cable car takes you to the highest summit of Highland Peak. The gait is slow and yet have the pleasant surprise to see the panoramic view of the bird’s eye perspective view.
In addition to the cable car, Tagaytay Highlands also has the following services:
• a landscaped pool,
• a sports center where you can play billiards, bowling and other fun activities
• a fairly new farm animals and small
• kart race track
• a spa,
• Golf
On the gastronomic delight, Tagaytay Highlands has many restaurants and cafes to culinary experience. Highly recommended is the lunch buffet at the Veranda (though expensive), which undoubtedly would compromise intestinal capacity. You can also try Geraldine Soda Fountain where the chocolate milk is indeed a pleasure. There is also a cinema next to it in old movies are shown.
It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay in Tagaytay in fact, although not all can afford the membership fee to the country club. A good strategy is to find friends who are members and ask them to provide their membership rights.

Wedding-related establishments, both government and privately owned, have flourished and within these walls for centuries that the city may well be a shopping destination wedding stop.
Once again, the destinies of the wedding as wedding destinations go, you get more historic Intramuros. Among the fifteen churches once the grounds of this city stands preserved architecture of the churches two centuries of Manila: San Agustin Church, which remains intact since oldest building and the cathedral of Manila, which, despite being restored, but still bears witness to this day the union of souls as Filipino brides and grooms vow their eternal love within its walls of adobe Philippines.

The architecture of the church of San Agustín promises a wedding that is truly as impressive as their declared love molave carved doors. Its flat roof intricacies surely surprise the most discerning eyes.

Manila Cathedral by contrast, is bound to be solemnized weddings after weddings, decades after decades, great structure, and the art of stained glass mosaic and continue to fascinate Filipino couples over the centuries. They say it was built in late 1500, retains its splendor Intramuros of Spanish

influence of technology such as highways are being built virtually in our world today. Sure, there have been upgrades here and there, but you can still hear the clip clopping of hooves on the cobblestone street nearby. Listen.

Ancient buildings that stand proud they have become places to receive adequate reception and care for brides and grooms to their newly found happiness in marriage. Intramuros has survived colonization after colonization after Edsas Edsas, and whose glory is still alive. Relive the splendor of a bygone era, they marry in Intramuros!

By nature, an island wedding is a point of departure from tradition, says Rita Sanson, whose family owns and Pearl of the Pacific in Boracay. “In this case, it is the tropical atmosphere,” he explains.
“People who choose to marry here tend to be lovers of nature, are more free and independent-minded.” The range of styles is impressive, using a surprising number of elements: sunsets and sand castles, starlight and palm trees, starfish and pearls, horses and a tipi.

A dance hall may be more manageable and certainly more manageable, but a riverside setting and the sky is hard at first the first tune was the most formal, a grand banquet in the imposition of the Pearl, Willie Coscolluela design, and thatched lounge main beachfront. Red roses, capiz shell lamps and miles of garland of pearls had a very romantic who was also a reflection of the configuration of the coast.
A set luau on the beach the next night was almost as great although a little more informal, with low tables allowing guests to sit on the soft powder sand. Bamboo torches mounted on a tripod was used as the centerpiece “chandelier.” ginger plant leaves set the length of the dining tables. An elevated stage-aligned Banigo was the realization of the couple. There were old iron kettles filled with water and floating flowers and candles. The place was so good and comprehensive enough to include the normal height of tables and chairs for those who prefer (or not) sit on the sand. On one side of the stage was a show trademark Boracay. In the afternoon, after school, children build sand castles and other sculptures on the beach and fill their holes with candles at sunset. It is a very pretty sight.
The Pearl is not only one of the widest beaches in Boracay, their goods reach inland and up a hill. Inland, in the wooded area, is an impressive temple designed by Bobby Ma-osa all decorated for a ceremony.
At the top of the property, overlooking the ocean is a wooden pergola adorned with flowers and decorated with a marble-top table and antique chairs. This would make a lovely setting for a private dinner for the married couple or a pre-wedding party the bridesmaids’ tea. The possibilities are endless and variation.

What will it cost?

Pearl of the Pacific has created wedding packages for a minimum of 80 to 150 people. Packages include floral centerpieces for all tables and decoration of reception sites, free accommodation for the couple on the beachfront Premier Maharlika Suite for three days and two nights with breakfast daily in the restaurant or the Princess Rita the suite. The couple also has a 15% discount on food and drink that they consumed a bottle of champagne.
A package a menu includes a salad Thai beef, Carrot and Pumpkin Soup, grilled seafood skewers with pesto, grilled chicken breast with mango, mashed potatoes, paella, ice cream and fruit and dessert served in the coconut. This costs P530 per person. The version of the buffet is P640 per person.

The daily menu in the package B is P860. Buffet Menu 1 includes several salads and desserts, and is known for pork, chicken and needle selections from the grill and main dishes such as Caribbean spices away free chicken, pork stew with tomatoes Kalamata olives and chorizo. It costs P1, 085 per person.

A standard room at the Pearl is $ 120 per night. A deluxe room is $ 150 and a suite is $ 200.
